Weeeeeeekend!

TGIF, y'all! Any big weekend plans? Tomorrow, Kyle and I are heading to Indy so that she can help me finally use the Anthropologie gift card I won way back in March from Jane. I still have no idea what I'm going to get, but of course I perused the website a little bit this evening and found a few fall things that are on my radar ...

Lady's Choice Cardigan - LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS ONE

Obsessed.

I just came across my new favorite Etsy store - Brookish. She and I share a favorite book - Pride and Prejudice. I need all of these things:

Every time I think of Mr. Darcy, I imagine Colin Firth. That's okay, right? Because I have always had an innocent little crush on him. In my opinion, he made the BEST Mr. Darcy. In vain I have struggled. It will not do.

The whole Mr. Darcy proposal on a dish towel? YES PLEASE!!!
I just don't think it gets any more romantic than this. Seriously. Why did I not use this quote in our wedding ceremony? Talk about a missed opportunity!

If anyone feels like sending one of these items along to me ... I can't say I'd mind. :) These little somethings have been a tiny ray of sunshine in a day spent at home with the tummy sicks. And now ... back to bed.

Eye Candy

Warning: This post will make you want to buy pretty things.

A few weeks ago, I won what was possibly the best blog giveaway EVER from Jane at Moonflowers, Mojitos and Me - a $100 gift card to Anthropologie. I KNOW. I know you're jealous. It's pretty freaking amazing. I wanted to win this giveaway SO BADLY that I would not stop talking about it to Lucy. She said that, if she somehow won the giveaway, she would just give me the gift card because she had never heard of Anthro before. Clearly, she just wanted me to shut up. ANYWAY ... I just want to give a huge, public THANK YOU to Jane for hosting such an amazing giveaway. It really cheered me up, and I have spent the last few weeks fantasizing about what I will buy with my gift card. So, without further ado, here are about 100 things I'd like to buy with my $100 gift card. :)

The Tonal Gingham Dress (I think this one is my favorite!)

Rue La La Love

I haven't blogged about Rue La La in awhile, but ... I just can't resist today. The Lela Rose boutique is soooo beautiful! Albeit expensive. Here is a little sampling of what you could find - if you act fast! I may not be able to afford the prices, but lots of other people clearly can so HEAD THERE QUICK! Need an invite? Click here!

This one is my absolute favorite! It is so gorgeous, but at $599...yikes!

Pretty Sparkly Things

While doing some shopping with Lisa in Chicago, she quickly pointed out that I was drawn like a magnet to pretty much anything sparkly. I don't know if it's the holidays or what...but I am ALL ABOUT THE SPARKLES right now. Of course this comes at a time when I own pretty much nothing sparkly. What's up with that?! Anyway...here are my top sparkly picks for the holiday season, starting with the cheap stuff:

Forever 21 Sequin Twist Headband $3.80

Okay...how fabulous are these super cheapo shoes from F21? I first saw them on Gigi's blog and fell in love. I checked them out at F21 in Chicago and they were gorgeous!!!
Forever 21 Donatella Glitter Peep Toe $22.80
Okay, on to my one true shopping love, J. Crew. I may not be able to afford anything besides socks and accessories at the outlet, but...I will never stop loving their beautiful items. They really went all out this season with the sparkles and I LOVE ALL OF IT.

J. Crew Sequined Starland Tank $138

J. Crew Sequin Scarf Cardigan $110.40 (on sale!)

J. Crew Crushed Glitter Magic Wallet $16.50

J. Crew Skinny Crushed-Glitter Belt $24.50

J. Crew Starlight Glitter Ballet Flats $125

Okay, no sparkles here, just pretty silver flats with a pretty bow. Just had to share! :)

J. Crew Pippa Mirror Ballet Flats $135
Am I the only one crushing on sparkles right now? What are your favorite festive things?
