Things I don't understand: Work Edition

1. If you told me last semester that you left your backpack at a friend's house, and that's why you can't ever do any homework again, do NOT come to me this semester and tell me that your backpack got STOLEN. Do not also add that you had completed several hours of missing work that you were JUST about to turn in when your backpack got stolen. The thing is ... I don't believe you. The backpack excuse really only works once. I'm just saying.

2. When you are going to a meeting at school with your child, your child's teachers, your child's counselor, and your child's assistant principal, why can you not find anything to wear besides a pair of pink flannel cartoon character pajama pants?

UGH, pink flannel cartoon character pajama pants, I just don't get it. It's not like they were going to Wal-Mart!

I love when they come with the rollers still in their hair. That is my fav.

Oh, seriously, we must have worked at the same school. I'm always amazed at the lies kids think we'll believe. And the things their parents do to support them.
