Monday Monday

Happy Monday, friends!

Gosh, I feel like it's been forever since I've posted.  I don't have much to say today, for some reason, but I wanted to talk about a couple of movies.

First of all - has anyone seen Seven Pounds?  I am dying to talk about this movie with someone but I don't want to ruin it for those who haven't seen it.  If you've seen it and want to chat about it...comment/email me.

Second - Mr. Smith and I rented The Changeling over the weekend.  Wow, wow, wow.  What an absolutely amazing film.  Clint Eastwood never disappoints, I'll say that much.  Have you seen it?  What did you think?  In real life, I'm not a huge fan of Angelina Jolie, but I do think that she's a great actress and I tend to like most of her movies (yes, even the Lara Croft movies.  Don't judge.).

Hey - has anyone read (or looked at) the Runner's World Complete Guide to Women's Running?  That may or may not be the exact title of the book, but...it's something similar to that.  I checked it out of the library last week and I'm really enjoying it.  So much so that I think I will probably buy a copy to keep forever and ever.  It's tailored to women and has everything from training plans to stretches to strength training exercises to tips on diet and motivation.  I highly recommend - and I'm only halfway through it!

If you have read or seen any of the above...let me know.  What did you think?  Like/not like?  Discuss.  :)

I saw Changeling in the theater and was so bummed. It didn't end at all like I thought it would. It was a good movie though...

I watched the beginning of 7 Pounds in bed the other week and fell asleep. I really, really want to finish it off because I generally like W. Smith's movies. After this week, I will get to it!

And the Changeling. Oh that was so messed up. I wanted to slap those officers silly and tell Angelina to go and find her baby boy on her own. The ending was exactly how I predicted it, but it was a good movie!

I loved, loved, loved Changeling!!! I couldn't stop thinking about it after it was over! I'm not a huge Angelina Jolie fan either but she blew me away in this film.

I disliked both movies :( And kind of half watched them ;)

I've heard that books is great, but haven't seen it myself! I was reading about it on another blog so will share the link if I run across it!
