The pass runners who sit outside my office are talking about shopping for new cars.
Boy #1: "I went car shopping this weekend. I couldn't find what I wanted."
Boy #2: "I want, like, a really really huge SUV."
Boy #1: "They're not going to make SUVs anymore because of gas prices."
Girl: "No, they're gonna make them. They're not just gonna...stop...making them."
Boy #1: "Yeah, I guess you're right."
Boy #2: "I just want a really, really big car."

i love this! my best friend is a high school math teacher and the head cheerleading coach. the stories she tells are awesome, too!
SPEA is a really good program - I took some classes there as an undergrad. Has he looked into employment with the IU libraries? A lot of other grad students I know work there.
I'm getting married on the 14 (eek! That's SO soon!!!!), in Bedford, at a church camp down there. Are you all from Indiana originally?
