Too funny not to repost

Good morning lovelies! Happy Thursday! It's almost the weekend!!! Does anyone have any fun weekend plans? I, for one, will be attending Mr. Smith's grandmother's 90th birthday party. And that's about it!

I have recently introduced Mr. Smith into the blogland. I taught him how to use Google Reader, how to star things, and all sorts of other fun stuff. Now...he is knee-deep in posts and appears to be as addicted to Reader as I am! He showed me this post from the Freakonomics blog that was just TOO FUNNY not to repost. You can read the whole post here - it is a very brief blurb about some crazy Japanese products that are currently on the market. This is clearly my favorite:

Okay...part of me is completely creeped out by this. The other part...thinks I'd probably love it. Is that not the funniest thing you've ever seen??

That rates right up there with the blow-up man my grandma once bought to put in her front window, so people wouldn't know she lived alone.

That's hilarious. You know you'd wake up and scare yourself with that fake hand!

Thanks for your comments about my giveaway clutch. If I start making that line of clutch bags again, I'll be sure to name one after you!

Get the clapper light and clap off and snuggle up to your man arm pillow. My dream evening! LOL :)

I laughed out loud when I saw that ad. I like the little Japanese labels over each of the different colors. I hope they say "Pink dismembered arm," and "Powder blue dismembered arm."

It also kind of reminds me of that one Arrested Development when GOB is contacted by the organization that reunites sons with their fathers, and he and Steve Holt are at the park with the statue of the boy and the hand. And then Steve says something like "Look Dad, I found a severed hand." And GOB says "Anything for his father's approval..."

Also, have you ever been to engrish.com?
