Today after work, I went to the library to pick up some books. Mr. Smith doesn't have a library card yet, so he went online and held a few books on my library card. I went into the library, returned two books, found the book I wanted, and went to the checkout.
"Hi, I have a few books on hold," I said to the kind library lady.
I walked out of the library with:
The Devil We Know: Dealing with the New Iranian Superpower, by Robert Baer;
Lone Survivor: the Eyewitness Account of Operation Redwing and the Lost Heroes of Seal Team 10, by Marcus Luttrell with Patrick Robinson;
Sleeping with the Devil: How Washington Sold Our Soul for Saudi Crude, by Robert Baer; Engaging the Muslim World, by Juan Cole; and
Occasions, by Kate Spade.
I'll let you figure out which of those was my book.

Ha! Wow...gee I wonder...
Hahahaha.. Oh man.. I'm in the same boat, however, Hubs' books are all written by Bill Gates and share some sort of "get rich, stay rich" theme. Gotta love 'em!
hmmm- I don't know . . . All those books sound so good- I don't know how you will be able to give them to your husband. = )
wow those sound like real page turners. how will he ever put them down? :)
The Iranian one? LOL! I have a friend whose husband reads all these war strategy books, and he actually wakes up having violent dreams about them in the middle of the night. Strange!
I am happy I read this! It reminded me to sign in and renew my books online this morning! ;)
Oh my...what a good wife you are :)
