Twitter is a social networking and micro-blogging service that allows its users to send and read other users' updates (otherwise known as tweets), which are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length.
Updates are displayed on the user's profile page and delivered to other users who have signed up to receive them. Senders can restrict delivery to those in their circle of friends (delivery to everyone being the default). Users can receive updates via the Twitter website, SMS, RSS, or through applications such as TwitterMobile, Tweetie, Twinkle, Twitterrific, Feedalizr, Facebook, and Twidget, a widget application.
hi there! always happy to have a new reader...i'm such a lurker on other people's blogs. i need to get more brave about speaking up! your blog is adorable too - i have added you to my google reader.
in terms of twitter...i don't know how familiar you are with facebook? status updates? twitter is the same thing. allows you to post a 140 character message that answers the question "what are you doing?" but basically people just post on there whatever they want. cute way to keep up with things. lots of celebrities use it - fun to see what they post.
also...for our honeymoon, we were in arenal for 3 days and then out on the guanacaste peninsula at playa conchal. we stayed at the paradisus. it was heaven. don't you wish you could go back? :)
Welcome to my little piece of the internet! I am a wife, a dog mommy, a runner, a musician, a reader, and a foodie. Join me as I record the spectacular and the mundane!
